Victor Manuel Sanchez March 30, 1955 – February 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Victor Manuel Sanchez, 63, of Lorain, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2019 in UH Elyria Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born March 30, 1956 in Canovanas, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio Mercado and Victoria Sanchez. He came to Lorain in 2008.

Victor had worked in the construction trades. He enjoyed baseball and fishing. He was well known for his sense of humor He will be missed by his daughters Brenda Liz Mercado, Irielba Mercado, Cristina Mercado, Nelly M. Mercado, Jeylis M. Mercado and Vilnalys Mercado; sons Victor M. Mercado, Jose Mercado and Victor M. Mercado; brothers Felix Cirino, Carlos Mercado, Jesus Mercado, Fidel Mercado, Hector Hernandez, Luis Mercado, Marcos Mercado, Raymond Mercado and Jose Mercado; sisters Maria L. Armaiz, Nelly Hernandez, Nelly Mercado and Mirna Mercado; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends Thursday, February 21 from 4 PM until time of his funeral service at 7 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
