He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was absolutely contagious. His heart was so full of love and his hugs could make you feel like everything was going to be ok.

He was someone you could get lost in a deep conversation with, always willing to listen and try to help. Oscar had a passion for cooking but his biggest passion was being a father to his beautiful little girls. When I asked his fiancé, Hilary, if she had a favorite memory with Oscar, she said every memory with him was amazing and they had so many amazing times together she couldn’t just pick one.

Then she sent me this: “Oscar was the most full-hearted person I know. He had a smile that lit up the room, the most contagious laugh you ever heard. He was loved by everyone he met and made some kind of impact.

He was always there to help someone even if they didn’t want him to. He was full of life; he was an amazing father to his girls. I remember the pure joy in his eyes when I told him he was going to be a father.

He was my best friend, my other half, the missing piece to my puzzle”. We all have our memories with Oscar and it’s those moments with him that each of us will cherish for the rest of our lives. He was loved by many and will continue to be loved and remembered by us all.

He is survived by his fiancée Hilary Klinger; daughters, Aria Deleon and Mia Deleon; sisters, Dina Cintron and Marelisa Leverknight; uncles, Mike, Albie, and Ben Castro; grandparents, Benjamin and Maria Castro. A memorial service will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
