Vincenzo (Jim) Procaccio Vincenzo (Jim) Procaccio of Cuyahoga Falls born July 2, 1925 in Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully at home September 17, 2018. Jim was a loyal and devoted husband to his loving wife Mary of 68 years. He was a hard worker his entire life working at Quaker Oats and BF Goodrich before opening Ladd’s Drive-In with his brothers in 1949.

His wife joined him at Ladd’s, working full time, side by side, after their youngest started school. They retired in 1999 at the age of 74. He also enjoyed working at Pro Tree with his son in his spare time.

Jim enjoyed nature, parks, county fairs, walking and trips with his children. He loved feeding the birds and watching the squirrels in his yard. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Joanne (Tony) Mangen, Jim (Pamela) Procaccio, Teresa (Tom) Arrington,Thomas Procaccio, Michael Procaccio, Patrick (Maria) Procaccio, Joseph (Laura) Procaccio; grandchildren, George, Rose, Tim, Liz, Jason, Adam, Mat, Jeremy and Lucia, 14 great-grandchildren;many loving nieces and nephews; special niece, Nikki Weber; godchildren and sisters-in-law, Matilda Hofacker, Patricia Moirano and Margaret Moirano.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pietro and Dominica Procaccio; siblings, Louis, Patsy, Theresa, Anthony, John, Mike and Esther; grandson, Joseph Mangen; and mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Lena Moirano. A special thank you to his daughter Joanne Mangen for her devotion and loving care for the past several years. We would like to also thank the aids that helped keep dad at home: Amy, Deb, Kathy and Stephanie.

Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
