Violet’s Obituary Violet R. Robison, 95, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday December 5, 2018 peacefully at her home. She was born August 14, 1923 in Arthurdale, WV a daughter of the late Noel and Pearl Trowbridge Simms. Violet was an active member at Eden United Methodist Church.

She sang in the church choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women. In her spare time she enjoyed flower gardening, feeding and watching birds, and listening to country music, especially Kenny Rogers. She was also a faithful viewer of The Price is Right.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah Sullz of Core, Beverly Robison of Morgantown, Karen Pascasio and husband Rudy of Weston; son Joseph Robison of Morgantown; grandchildren David Michael Pascasio, Daniel Marcus Pascasio, Deanna Maria Pascasio all of Weston; and one great grandson Kaleb Michael Pascasio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David W. Robison; daughter Merrie Grace Robison; sons William Robison, David Robison, Thomas Robison; sisters Ruth Singleton, Virginia Wilson, Delma Flint; and her brothers Leonard Simms, Theodore Simms, Jack Simms, Robert Simms, Dick Simms, and Elmo Trowbridge. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Violet’s caretaker Billie Wiles and all of the staff and aides at Amedisys Hospice, for all of the care and support given to Violet over the years.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday December 9, 2018 from 5-8pm and again on Monday from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 1pm with Pastor Wanda Brosky officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery.
