Virgil W. Reynolds Age 89, of East Sparta, passed away Monday April 30, 2018. He was born July 11, 1928 in East Sparta, a son of the late Herman and Dorothy (Brothers) Reynolds and was a life resident. Virgil was a 1947 graduate of East Sparta High School.

He retired in 1990 from Hammond Construction Co. where he was a supervisor, and then went back to work for Shirkey Architechs, retiring again in 1993. He was a member of Carpenters Local #69. Virgil and Donna loved animals and always had dogs, including his beloved companion Angie.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Donna J. Reynolds, on March 9, 2013. Virgil is survived by his three sons, Tim (Tami) Reynolds, Tod (Mary Jo) Reynolds, and Tyler Reynolds, ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Frank (JoAnn) Reynolds, Lester Reynolds, and Gary Reynolds. A private graveside service will be held in German Cemetery with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.
