Obituary for Virginia Ann Richards (Biggers) Graveside services for Virginia Richards, 82, of Athens are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse, Texas with Bro. Mike Curry officiating. Services will be under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Virginia Richards passed on December 17, 2018 in Athens. Virginia Ann Biggers Richards was born August 3, 1936 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of James Robert Biggers and Virgie Story Biggers. She was a member of the Lake Athens Baptist Church, was an avid reader, enjoyed painting and watching old tv shows on the Hallmark channel.

She especially loved flowers and gardening. Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rueben Richards; son Eddie Richards; daughter Donna Hause and three brothers, Clifford Biggers, Harold Biggers and Eugene Biggers.

She is survived by her son Fred Richards and wife Deenie of Round Rock; son-in-law Shawn Hause; one grandson Michael Ornales and two great grandchildren Michael and Justin Ornales. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michelle Richards and Billy Richards for their loving care.
