Virginia Couch Ms. Virginia Agatha Couch, 76, of Cartersville, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, Virginia was born December 27, 1941 to the late James Thomas Couch, Sr. and Tinnie Marie Byars Couch. She attended church at the Church at Liberty Square and enjoyed Christian Programing.

She also enjoyed reading, cooking and flowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Florence Proctor, Marie Tapley, James Edward Couch, James T. Couch, Jr., Ricky Couch and Vernon Couch. Survivors include her sister, Mary Owens of Acworth; her brothers, Virgil Couch of Cartersville, Clyde Couch of Cassville and Ernest Couch of Cartersville; her aunt, Eunice Byars of Cartersville; along with several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Dr. Jacob King and The Reverend Allen Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
