Obituary for David “Jabo” Walters Mr. David Randal “Jabo” Walters, 70, of Austell, formerly of Cartersville, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell. Born June 16, 1948 in Odenville, Alabama, he was a son of the late Johnny Eugene Walters and the late Edna Adams Walters. Jabo moved to Cobb County in 1956 and was retired from Metro Metals.

He moved to Cartersville in 1994. Jabo enjoyed fishing and flea marketing, he enjoyed cooking and BBQ and was everyone’s favorite uncle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Smith; sisters, Mary Jo Baugh and Dorthey Ingram; and brothers, James, Jesse, Wayne, and John Bradley.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Lynn Wilson of Cleveland, TN; grand-daughter, Destiny M. Freeman, also of Cleveland; and a sister, Johnnie Sue Mullinax of Austell. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Mullinax officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Providence Cemetery.
