Obituary for Hattie Pauline Ledford Hattie Pauline Ledford, 88, of Cartersville, died on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Ellijay, Georgia on April 30th, 1930, she was the daughter of the late George Wood and Viola Jones Mundy. Mrs. Ledford was a member of ATCO Baptist Church.
She was a sight! She made friends with anyone she came in contact with. She could be as mean as a rattlesnake if she needed to be and she could make you laugh.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Ledford; daughter in law, Connie Watson; siblings, Dennis Wood, Tot Shumate, Donald Wood. Survivors include her son, Dennis Watson; grandchildren, Amiee Crutchfield, Candi Miller (Ernie); great grandchildren, Samantha Millwood, Taylor Norwood, Alexa Crutchfield; brothers, Mack Wood, Richard Wood, Eugene Jones, George Wood; sister in law, Sydney Ann Wood; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 17, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
