OBITUARY Cora Elaine Johnson December 4, 1928 – September 17, 2018 Cora Elaine Driver Johnson, age 89, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. Elaine was born on December 4, 1928 in Alabama, daughter of the late George Wiley Driver and Cora Mims Driver. Elaine was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and was a proud member of Mt.

Pleasant Church in Grove Oak, AL and Friendship Baptist Church in Cartersville, GA. Elaine is preceded in death by her loving husband Delma Johnson; son, Roger Johnson. Survivors include her sister, Margie (Bud) Masters; brother, O.C. (Virginia)Driver; long time loving friends, Brenda and Johnny Gentry; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 26th of September, 2018 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Brother Stanley Jones officiating. Private graveside services will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, AL.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten-thirty in the morning until the service hour at Owen Funeral Home. In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial donations may be made to Transitions Hospice, 610 Shorter Ave. , Rome, GA 30165 or to a charity of your choice.
