Obituary for Sandra Davis Mrs. Sandra Jean Davis, 74, of Cartersville, died on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Aragon, Georgia on January 24, 1944, the daughter of the late Herbert Williams, Sr. and Dora Elizabeth Poss Williams. Mrs. Davis was retired from Kroger where she worked for 23 years.

She enjoyed cooking and doing word searches. Mrs. Davis was a family person and loved everybody. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Huey Leon Davis and her sister, Marilu Hattaway.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Darryl) Haney of Cartersville, Rhonda Davis Seifert of Lawrenceville, Joy (Justin) Wimpy of Rydal and Steven “Rip” Davis of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Herbert Williams, Jr. of Cartersville. The family will have a memorial visitation on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
