Virginia Julia Gotchy, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice. Virginia was born April 23, 1929, in Minocqua, to the late Bernhardt and Pauline (Nichol) Witt. On October 18, 1947, she married Charles A. Gotchy in Minocqua.

Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by two sons, David Gotchy, Hickory, NC and Gary (Mary) Gotchy, Glendale, AZ; four daughters, Linda (Doug) Hardesty, Sun City, AZ, Paula (Steve) Siefert, Sheboygan, Mary Beth (Allan) Jentsch, Sheboygan and Sarah (Tim) Goetsch, Sheboygan; 11 grandchildren, Todd (Stacey), Scott (Emmy), and Justin (Jaime) Gotchy, Emily (Dean) Sprenger, Natalie (Steve) Sargent, Charles Jentsch, Courtney (Peter) Bartzen, Matt (Jamie) Siefert, Ryan (Summer) Gotchy and Brian and Eric Goetsch; great granddaughters, Jade Gotchy, Charlotte Sargent, Gracie Gotchy great grandsons, Luke Gotchy, Connor Gotchy Haiden Gotchy, Tucker Gotchy, Oliver Bartzen, Parker Sprenger, and Ben Sargent; two sisters, May Shotwell, Medford, OR and Dorothy Bice, Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Katy Gotchy and six brothers. A funeral service for Virginia will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church, (623 Ontario Avenue, Sheboygan) with Rev.

Cindy Thompson officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, at the church, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
