Obituary for Virginia “Jenny” A. Wilson Virginia “Jenny” A. Wilson, 81, of Albany, KY went to be with her beloved husband and the Lord on September 5, 2018. She was born December 25, 1936 in New Castle to the late Florence Charlton. Jenny was an active member of Lee’s Chapel Church in Albany, KY.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society, all the ladies groups and a choir member. Jenny loved shopping and being with her very extended family. She retired from Ferodo in New Castle after 35 years of service before moving to Albany, KY in 1999.

She had resided in Muncie for the past 2 years with her daughter, to be close to her family. Left to cherish all of her memories is her daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Nye, grandson, Jeremiah “JD” (Kerry) Craft, great-grandchildren, Kiah and Kalijah Craft, Alaina and Tiana Ramirez of Muncie; granddaughter, Jenna (Shannon) Ashby; great-grandsons, Colin and Gavin Ashby; son, Martin “Tony” (Linda) Hay of Muncie, granddaughter, Brooke (Joe) Terry, great-grandsons, Tristin, Talon, Noah Terry all of North Carolina; daughter, Teresa’s children, grandsons, Kent (Traci) French, Brock (Rachel) French, granddaughter, Audrea French (Jake Davis), great-grandsons, Daxton and Preston French of Yorktown, Bentley Davis; daughter, Tena (Pastor Bill) Palmer, grandson, Chris Kirby, great-grandchildren, Amaya and Silas Kirby, Mary Palmer (AJ Meyer), great-grandson, Gage Meyer all of New Castle; daughter, Saundra (Chris) Bryant, grandchildren, Chrysta and Travis Bryant all of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Monica Price, grandchildren, Jay and Karl (Hannah) Kissinger, great-grandchildren, Annabella, Wesley, Charlie, Sophia and Mason Kissinger all of Indianapolis, a sister-in-law, Patricia Watkins of Anderson, a brother-in-law, Edward Wilson of Yorktown, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jenny is proceeded in death by her mother, Florence Charlton, daughter, Teresa French and the love of her life, her husband of 33 years, Carl Wilson, 5 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hilton, Marie Wilson, Rose Neal, Joyce Tuck, and Jean Gorman, special Aunt and Uncle Jean Ellis Wilson.

Visitation for Jenny will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8th at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.
