OBITUARY Virginia Lex February 24, 1943 – September 2, 2018 Virginia Lex went to her eternal rest on September 2, 2018, at the age of 75. She was born on February 24, 1943, in Somerset, Texas, to Roberto and Antonia Martinez. Virginia was a very good cook, an avid reader and book collector, as well as a gifted and passionate seamstress; sewing for the entire family and for friends, anything from alterations to prom and wedding dresses.

Giving her a piece of material, needle, and thread, she could work magic, but she was most proud of her role of doting grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family during holidays and birthdays, always wanting to create one of her specialty dishes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Olga Lucero, and her second father: Rev.

Mike Mushalla. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Paul Tomas Lex, Jr., William Robert Lex, and Carl Andrew Lex; and grandchildren: Paul Tomas Lex, III, Sammi Jo Lex, and Antonia Lynn Lex. She is also survived by her brother: Robert Martinez (Becky), sisters: Stella Lopez, Consuelo Martinez, and Eva Martinez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. On Tuesday, September 11, 2018, a 10:00 a.m. Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19711 North Dixon Street, in Somerset, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Somerset, Texas.

FAMILY She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Olga Lucero, and her second father: Rev. Mike Mushalla. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Paul Tomas Lex, Jr., William Robert Lex, and Carl Andrew Lex; and grandchildren: Paul Tomas Lex, III, Sammi Jo Lex, and Antonia Lynn Lex.
