Obituary for Vivian W. Sledge Vivian Sledge departed this life Friday, January 4, 2019. She was born on May 4, 1942 to Geraldine Smith and Luciia Rapier. Member of New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where W.N. Reed is Pastor.

She served with the Beautifying Club and Sunday School Class 2-B. Ms. Sledge attended Pulaski Middle School, graduated from Roosevelt High School and later Odessa Beauty College. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Jimmy Sledge.

Vivian leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter Lorrie Ann Teague, one grandson, Mario Matheny, one great grand-daughter Jamalia Johnson along with a host of nieces, cousins and her beloved New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church family.
