Obituary of Vivian A. Fargo Vivian A. Fargo, 87, of Lakewood, formerly of Falconer passed away Friday (March 22, 2019) in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident she was born February 24, 1932 in Kennedy, the daughter of the late George W. Sholl and Lula Ackley Wheeler. Vivian attended Randolph High School and had been employed by Jamestown City Hall and had sold Avon.

For most of her life she was a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion Auxiliary and Randolph Moose. Vivian enjoyed her family and her dog Honey Bear.

Surviving are three sons: Leonard Harding of Falconer, David Harding of Jamestown, Robert J. (Kim) Fargo Jr. of Jamestown; two daughters: Lorrie Beish of Gerry, Judy Hayes of Georgia; eight grandchildren: Scott Harding, Todd Harding, Jason Fargo, Jennifer Bliss, Kristy Franze, Toni Fargo, Tyler Melquist, Adam Melquist; eleven great grandchildren; a brother Richard Sholl of Kennedy and a sister Sandra Miller of Busti. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Fargo Sr. whom she married June 21, 1958, who died May 19, 2009; her father George Sholl, her mother Lula Wheeler and step father Gerald Wheeler. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer. Friends will be received by the family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of one’s choice.
