OBITUARY Wade H. Reed Jr. July 13, 1928 – July 14, 2018 Wade H. Reed, Jr., 90, peacefully joined his heavenly father on July 14, 2018. He was born on July 13, 1928 in Houston, Texas. Wade was retired from the Texas Highway Department with 40 years of service.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine A. (Talcott) Reed, Wade is survived by his children, Ronnie Reed and wife, Susan, Guy Reed, Terry Reed and wife, Cathy Dee, Tim Reed, Susan Strong and husband, Jack, and Kathy Nowak and husband, Charlie. Pop is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and his sister, Lois Takata. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Waltrip Funeral Directors.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 20th at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway in Houston, Texas. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Headquarters, 225 N. Michigan Ave. , Fl.
