Wallace H. Crowder, Jr. Wallace H. Crowder, Jr., 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed into the arms of Jesus Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Davis Hospice Center. Wallace was born December 12, 1949 in Houston, Texas, a son of the late Wallace H. and Norma L. (Morton) Crowder, Sr. Wallace served in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He married Vivian K. Marquiss on June 6, 1976 in Pine Bluffs, WY.

He worked for the Street & Alley Department for the City of Cheyenne for 28 years, retiring in 2008. As his boys grew up, he was always proud to be involved in whatever they wanted to do, from sports to 4-H and FFA. Many family members, friends and charitable organizations have beautiful stained glass creations to remember him by.

All his many medical caregivers were adopted by him as family and enjoyed his dry sense of humor and hugs. Each helped to extend his life despite his weak, but large and generous heart. He served several Independent Baptist Churches and held dear a strong belief in Jesus.

He is currently a member of Cheyenne Baptist Temple. Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Crowder of Cheyenne; sons, Jason (Jessica) Crowder of Cheyenne and Robert (Sarah) Crowder of Pine Bluffs; four siblings, Kaye (Alan) Kelly of Mineral Wells, TX, Mike Wakefield of Mineral Wells, TX; Elaine Bowman of Mineral Wells, TX, and Eddie Wakefield of Graford, TX; four precious grandchildren, Wyatt, Wesley, Ashley, and Adelynn; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, April 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.

schradercares.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Davis Hospice Center.
