Walt Anderson age 90 of Crestview passed away on Saturday January 12, 2019 at his home. He was born in Leavenworth, KS on September 23, 1928 to Dr. Jeff and Lidyia Anderson. Walt served his country in the United States Army and after being honorably discharged he went to Florida State University the 2nd year that it was made a Co-Ed School.

After graduating from FSU, he went on to the University of Florida and earned his law degree. He was an Assistant States Attorney with the state of Florida for 30 plus years. He loved to play golf and read.

He loved to practice law, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his grand kids. Walter was preceded in death by his parents and 2 children: Jeff Turner Anderson and Christy Lee Anderson. Survivors include his children: Kelly Swearingen and husband Danny of Marianna, FL.

, Kee Anderson of Baker, FL. and Shonee Anderson Hansen and husband Ryan of Reno, NV. Grandchildren: James, Jonathan, Candace, Wesley, Erica, Courtney, Anderson, Abree, and Wyatt; great grandchildren: Taylor, Beau and Lyla.
