Warren Smith December 24, 1941 – January 6, 2019 Warren “Poncho” Smith entered into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the age of 77 surrounded by his family. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Warren was a retired maintenance supervisor with Varco (Tuboscope).

Beloved husband of Malonia Simeon Johnson Smith. Devoted father of Warren, Jr. (Pamela), Darren (Rhonda), Julius and Cheryl Smith, and John “JJ” Sandoval Smith. Step father of Priscilla Sandoval and Alvex (Camille) Ussin Sr. Son of the late Albert Smith and Louvenia C. Butler.

Brother of Michael Smith, Joycelyn Forest, Wanda Cole and the late Barbara Hebert and Linda W. Johnson. Brother in law of Leonard Johnson, Jr., Evelyn (David) Green, Stephanie Johnson, Felicia Henry, Shondrecca (Richard) Taylor. Friend of Betty Smith, Yolanda Diaz, Vernitra Blakes, Louis Vaughn, and Nash, also survived by 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of family also pastors, officers, and members of Total Armour of God Ministries, Cornerstone Apostolic Cathedral, Jesus Answer Prayer Outreach Ministry, Healing and Deliverance Ministry, Morning Star Baptist Church, New Home Family Worship Center, Cornerstone Full Gospel , First African Baptist Church, Greater Mt.
