Wayne A. Kennedy, 78, entered into rest at his residence in Thomson, Georgia. He was a native of Knoxville, TN and lived in the Augusta-Thomson area since 1996, he was an investigator for USIS and retired SFC from the US Army. He is survived by his sons Wayne A. Kennedy, Jr. and Kyle W. Kennedy, daughters Patricia Johnson, Maureen McKinnon, Marilyn Yohe and Allyson Tilley, sisters Ruth Tipton and Rosetta Runion and his loving companion Darlene Cox.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at McNeill Funeral Home with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until time of service.
