Reed age 68 of North Branch died February 27, 2019. He was born May 22, 1950 in Rochester, Michigan to Raymond and Margaret Reed. He graduated from Rochester High School, class of 1968.

He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was an Industrial Electrician and had worked installing lines for production machines in manufacturing. He loved to go fishing and was a semi-pro Pool “billiards” player.

He loved all aspects of baseball including watching, palying and coaching. He survived by 5 children Abby (Zach) Clemons, Katy (Andy) Hilgendorf, Raymond (Kathleen) Reed, Molly (Derek) Beadle, Cory (Shelbie) Reed, 12 grandchildren, and brother Ken Reed. He proceeded in death by his parents Raymond and Margaret and 2 sisters Diane Treeful, Jan Reed.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is planned at a later date to be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements made by Carman Funeral Home, Brown City.
