Dateline: Franklin, NC Weaver Lee Shuler, 85, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. He was born in Macon County, the son of the late Don and Virgie Long Shuler. He was married to Virginia Cleo Gregory Shuler, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Shuler was a US Army Veteran and a retired farmer, he had worked for 14 years at Burlington Industries and 13 years at Biltmore Dairies and had also worked at Seays Farm and Garden. He attended Wells Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Greg Lee Shuler; a sister, Mary Bell Shuler; and three brothers, J. M. Shuler, Harold Shuler and Paul Shuler.

Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Peek and Donna Shuler Holden both of Franklin, NC and Virginia Peek of Johnson City, TN; four brothers, Marselle Shuler, Jerry Shuler (Judy), Charles Shuler (Margaret) and Dwight Shuler (Trudy) all of Franklin, NC; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Roy Lowe and Rev.

Ronnie Branson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Peek, Gary Peek, Michael Shuler, Steven Shuler, Jeffrey Shuler, Jimmy Wiggins and Killian Carpenter.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home. Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Shuler family. Online condolences are available at www.
