Wesley Ramon Brooks was born January 3, 1970 to the parents of Gordon & Ruby Brooks. Wesley was baptized at the New Galilee Baptist Church by Rev. W.C. Jones (pastor).

Wesley was a member. of the male chorus. Wesley received his GED in 1988.

Wesley went on to further is education at the Christian Academy of Maranatha Bible College Institute, where he graduated in 2016. Wesley truly loved learning. Wesley worked as a laborer.

He also volunteered at the Men’s shelter (downtown) helping others in need. Wesley played and loved basketball, he was also a huge fan of football as well. Especially watching it with his mother.

Wesley leaves to mourn his parents Gordon & Ruby Brooks, his daughter Destiny Belcher-Brooks, his oldest brother Gordon Brooks Jr. (Deceased) his sister Damaira Brooks-Jackson (Lecante) r his auntie Patricia Collie (deceased) his auntie Tanya Smith, his first cousins Ruby Keys, Ralph Collie, Anthony Collie, and Brianna Smith. His 2nd cousins Travis Keys Jr., TaMiyah Keys.
