Weston “Walleye Wes” Zilis, age79, a resident of Land O’Lakes, WI since 1994 and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at his home. Wes was born on January 19, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Jack and Kathleen Zilis. He worked for Anheuser-Busch in Chicago for 47 years as a beer delivery driver.

Wes served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife: Pat Zilis; his parents; twin brother: Warren Zilis; brother-in-law: Fred Bishton; mother-in-law: Jewel Bishton; and father-in-law: Walt Bishton. He is survived by his daughter: Kathleen (Matt) Huebner of Land O’Lakes, WI; grandson: Avery Weston Huebner of Land O’Lakes, WI; sister-in-law: Dorothy Bishton of Harvey, IL; niece: Edie Wendt; nephews: Ted (Jan) Bishton and Ed (Paula) Bishton; great nieces: Briell and Kayla; and great nephews: Joe and Eric.

A celebration of life for Wes will be held at a later date.
