OBITUARY Willard “Bill” A. Weitlauf Jr. March 4, 1947 – December 17, 2018 Willard “Bill” Andrew Weitlauf Jr ,71, of Louisville returned to our Heavenly Father on December 17, 2018 from his home. He was a member of St. Martin of Tours parish, where he was an alter server for the Tridentine Mass. Willard was born in Paducah, KY on March 4, 1947 and grew up in western Kentucky.

He married Carolyn Sue Hoxworth on April 15, 1972 at St. John’s Catholic Church. They lived in Paducah, Madisonville and, for 40 years, in Louisville. After Carolyn’s passing, Willard married Diane Marie Cognata on June 4, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn; parents, Willard and Ruth Weitlauf; and by his brother, Daryl Henry Weitlauf. Willard is survived by his wife, Diane Marie Cognata, two sons, James (Veronica) and Marc (Michelle), nine grandchildren, his brothers Leslie Phillip (Tammy), Wendell (Lori) and Kevin (Kim). Step Children Stacy (Chris) and Chris (HeeLa) A Tridentine Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 639 S. Shelby Street, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lexington, KY.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Please visit us online at www.
