Obituary for William “Bill” L. Pearce William Loring Pearce, 84, of Surfside Beach, died peacefully at his home on June 4, 2018 with his loving wife by his side. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he graduated from Northeastern University. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served a lifelong career in the Army before retiring with the rank of Major.

Bill spent his retirement years playing golf, traveling, cheering for the Red Sox and the Patriots, and enjoying time with his family and his many friends. Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife of sixty years, Christine Ursula; son, William Lennon Pearce and daughter in law, Karen; daughter, Christine Pearce; a son, David Pearce and daughter in law, Karen; daughter in law, Debbie Pearce and a grandson, Michael Pearce and a sister, Leslie Field. He was predeceased by a son, Steven; a brother, Ricky and his parents.

A viewing will be held at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC on Sunday, June 10th from 3-5. A mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church on Monday, June 11th at 10am. A burial with full military honors will follow in the church columbarium.
