Obituary for Betty Jo Royals Conway… Betty Jo Royals, age 85, widow of the late Arthur Claude Royals, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Embrace Hospice House. Mrs Royals was born on May 13, 1933 in Conway, a daughter of the late James Minus Doyal and Bessie Dew Doyal. Mrs. Royals was a member of New Home Baptist Church and had previously been a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She loved her flowers, gardening, and being outdoors. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Royals was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Hilda Nobles and Angeline Owens, and her brothers, J.M. Doyle, Lacy Doyal, and 1st SGT Lester Doyal, USMC (Ret.

). Surviving are her two daughters, JoAnn Royals of Conway and Sherry Lane R. Smith and husband Cole of Conway; and two grandchildren, Ethan Cole Smith and Victoria Lane Smith. Funeral services will be held at 3:16 PM Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev.

Roger Chestnut and Rev. John Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to Embrace Hospice House, 175 Village Center Blvd. , Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
