Obituary for Barbara Mergenthal Rogan Barbara Mergenthal Rogan, 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 17, 2018 surrounded by family at her residence in Surfside Beach. Born in Winston Salem, NC, Barbara was daughter of the late Bertil Payne and Virginia Hayes. Survivors include her husband, Paul Rogan, Surfside Beach; step daughters Denise (Mike) Burke, Michele Hunter, and Bridget (Mark) Morgan; grandchildren Tim (Sarah) Evans, Nicole Evans, Shannon Burke, Sydney (Nate) Hatcher, Lindsay Hunter, and Ryan Morgan; great grandchildren Sophia Evans, Elliot Evans, Ally Evans, Kate Evans, Holland Hatcher, and Carmen Hatcher.

A private family service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice Tidelands. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Barbara Mergenthal Rogan please visit our Sympathy Store.
