William “Bill” Lewis Saligoe, Jr. February 05, 1932 – March 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card William “Bill” Lewis Saligoe, Jr., age 87, of Speedway, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. Born February 5, 1932, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late William Lewis and Evelyn Bernice (Smith) Saligoe, Sr He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph and his grandson, Derrick.

Bill was a graduate of Cathedral High School. He loved racing of all kinds. Some of his favorites were sprints, midgets and NASCAR.

Some of his favorite activities were bowling, boating, and watching football and basketball. He also was Commodore of the Cataract Yacht Club. He was retired from Williams Comfort Air where he started as an installer and worked his way up to sales.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carol (Mitchell) Saligoe; his children: Michael Saligoe, Stephen Saligoe, David Goedeker, and Christine Watkins; his sister: Joan Saligoe; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with services to follow at 1:00 pm. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to either the Speedway Animal Rescue (SAR) www.
