William “Bill” J. Sitzman, 66, of Adyeville passed away, March 1st 2019, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. Bill was born March 29, 1952 in Huntingburg to Harold and Helen (Gogel) Sitzman. He married Carolyn Miller on August 21, 1982 in Lincoln Boyhood Chapel.

She preceded him in death on October of 2011. He married Bonita (VanWinkle) Myers on July 1, 2016 in St. Meinrad. Bill was a former truck driver for Mulzer’s.

He was a member of Early Days Tractor Club and St. Meinrad Parish. Bill enjoyed going to tractor shows. Bill is survived by his wife, Bonita Sitzman of Adyeville; a daughter, Gina (Lewis) Anderson of Tell City; two step-daughters, Stephanie (Jeff) Dilger of Mariah Hill and Debra (Todd) Dauby of Tell City; one sister, Ann (Robert) Bumm of Fulda; three brothers, John (Darlene) Sitzman of Ferdinand, Joseph (Sue) Sitzman of Mariah Hill and Mark Sitzman of Tell City; three grandchildren, William, Maxwell and Janie Anderson; five step-grandchildren, Ross and Claire Dilger, Phillip, Adam and Elizabeth Dauby.

Bill was preceded in death by both his mother and father. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM CDT on Thursday in Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Mariah Hill with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8:00 PM CDT at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 AM until time of services.
