William “Billy” Fulcher age 79 of Sneads passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 23, 1939 in West Virginia. Billy spent most of his life in Chesapeake, Virginia and was of the Baptist faith.

He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, boating, and gardening. Billy loved playing guitar and singing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Lille E. Fulcher; brothers, Ray, Charles, Ed, and George; sisters, Carol and Hazel.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Jean Fulcher; children, Billy Fulcher Jr., John Shourds, Allen Shourds, David Shourds all of Chesapeake, Virginia, Debra Covell of South Florida, Tammy Dixon (Steve) of Crossville, Tennessee, Barry Fulcher of Panama City, Florida, and Jamie Fulcher of Alabaster, Alabama. Billy is also survived by one brother, John Fulcher of Arkansas, sister, Ida Cook of Norfolk, Virginia and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorialization will be by cremation.
