OBITUARY William Brooks Baird November 30, 1943 – July 12, 2018 Play Tribute Movie William Brooks Baird, age 74, of Axis, Alabama passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018. William was born November 30, 1943 in Campton, Georgia to Hazel Geneva Toney Baird and William Hazel Baird. William is survived by his daughters, Anna (David) Hutton and Kristy (Ian) Hopkins; grandchildren, Jay, Jonathan, Christopher, Tye, Parker, Sydney, Meagan, and MacKenzie; and close friend, Curtis Dykes.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Hazel Baird and Hazel Geneva Toney Baird; brother, Tony Baird; and sister, Maxine Gill. A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in William’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, www. stjude.org or to an animal shelter of your choice.
