OBITUARY Ruth Waddill Lord January 19, 1918 – September 20, 2018 Mrs. Ruth Waddill Lord, age 100, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Curtis Eugene Lord, Sr., parents, John N. and Tommie Lou Waddill, Sr., three sisters, three brothers, daughter, Sandra Kaye Wooldridge and son, Curtis Eugene Lord, Jr Mrs. Lord was a talented quilter and was a charter member of the Azalea City Quilters Guild.

She also enjoyed her time spent fishing. Mrs. Lord was a longtime member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church. She is survived by her children; Betty (Jerry) Cornelius, Andrea Faye Tarleton, Robert (Glenda) Lord, Sr., and Delores Lord Kriner.

She is also survived by sister-in-law, Christine Waddill, daughter-in-law, Pat Lord, twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, her wonderful caregivers, Gina Byrd, Charlotte Tolbert and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to Saad’s Healthcare for the loving care provided their mother. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service time of 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be offered to Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church. Condolences may be offered at www. radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
