OBITUARY Alice Johnston November 16, 1919 – October 17, 2018 Alice Johnston, age 98, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2018. Alice was born November 16, 1919 to John and May Lofton Byrd. A wonderful lady that anchored six generations of life.

She enjoyed living a happy and content life always reaching out to others. Some of her favorite things were the simple things: sitting and visiting with her siblings on the front porch, cooking for her family to gather, quilting and leisure walks. You could hear laughs as she shared wonderful times with her kids and grandkids.

Preceded in death by her husband Sherman Johnston, sons: Lloyd Johnston and Johnny Johnston, daughter, Gennive Snow, 2 great grandchildren Evan Fowler and Kelsey Johnston. And four siblings. Survivors include 13 grandchildren Bonnie Chapman, Lloyd Johnston, Jr., John Johnston, June Bue, Greg Johnston, Lee Johnston, David Johnston, Alice Johnston, Hursas Snow, Jr., Michael Snow, Kent Snow, Bert Snow and Wanda Prewitt.

Three generations of grandchildren. Visitation for Alice will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.

Family will meet for committal service at approximately 3:00PM following services at Valhalla Cemetery, Eight Mile, Alabama. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. RadneyFuneralHome-Saraland.com for the JOHNSTON family.
