OBITUARY Fredna C. Waite December 15, 1943 – October 20, 2018 Fredna C. Waite, born December 15, 1943 in Deer Park, Alabama, passed from this life October 20, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. Fredna was a devout Christian who never failed to share her love for the Lord with whomever would listen. She was an avid reader and spent countless hours reading and studying her Bible, as well as enjoying Christian fiction written by Karen Kingsbury and Francine Rivers.

Fredna cherished spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. While not always able to attend church due to her health, she loved her pastor and church family and longed to be with them. Another passion of hers, as her health allowed, was hosting a Bible study group in her home and the relationships and friendships that were developed in this group.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas J. and Minnie Lee Curry; sisters, Linda Young, Virginia Harris, Freda Hammons, Vera Matheny; and brother, Edgar Curry. Fredna is survived by her devoted husband Jute Waite; son, Curtis (Nancy) Waite; daughter, Renee’ (Mike) Black, four grandchildren, Kevin and Kayla Waite and Brandon and Kristen Black; brother, Woody (Ola) Curry; sister, Janice Andrews; two very special friends, Lula Mae Allen and Sue Price, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will be accepting friends at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland, 1200 Industrial Parkway Saraland, Alabama, on Tuesday, October 23, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 102 Industrial Parkway Saraland, Alabama at 10:00 A.M. with visitation at the church from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Interment will immediately follow services Wednesday at Valhalla Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Semmes, Alabama. Bro. Steve Perry will officiate, and serving as pallbearers are John Andrews, Dale Matheny, Rodney Curry, Ray Harris, Rodney Price, and Donald Chancey.
