William Bryan Hogan was born on August 21, 1972 in Logan, Utah to Bill and Jill Hogan. He passed away in his sleep at his home on May 11, 2019, to begin his mission in heaven. Bryan was raised on the Hogan Family Farm where he lived and worked alongside many of his cousins.

It is here where he learned his strong work ethic and developed his close-knit relationship with his cousins, aunts, and uncles. He attended Tooele High School where he excelled academically and loved playing basketball for the Buffaloes. He graduated in 1990 and then began attending Utah State University that fall.

Bryan loved the outdoors. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, and especially duck hunting. He loved spending time with his family on Sunday afternoons, on family vacations, and could always be found making quick witted remarks.

Those closest to Bryan will miss his good sense of humor and his ability to make everyone laugh. Throughout his life Bryan was an example to all those who knew him, especially with his unrivaled perseverance. Though he will leave a large void and be greatly missed by his family and loved ones, we are joyful in the fact that he can now do those things that his body here on earth was no longer able to accomplish.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarke and Elaine Johnsen, Leland and Bertha Hogan, and his Uncle Eric Hogan and was no doubt welcomed into their open arms. He is survived by his parents, sister Hiedi (Rob) Purvis, brothers; Matt (Tiffany), Brent (Mary) and Nick (Tabitha) and 13 nieces and nephews, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and Family are invited to attend a Farewell to honor his life on Wednesday, May 15th at 7pm, Stockton LDS Church Cultural Hall.

There will be a short program and dress is casual. Funeral services will be held at the Stockton LDS Chapel on Thursday May 16, 2019 at 11:00am, with a viewing prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:45am. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery.
