William “Bill” David Duhnke Jr., age 86, passed away on November 20, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Bill was born on June 6, 1932 to William and Augusta Duhnke in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Bill graduated from North Division High School in 1950 and moved onto vocational school for a career as a machinist.

Bill married Patience Louise Archer on November 11, 1975 in Milwaukee. Bill was a certified jump master and instructor with the Wisconsin Skydivers Club, completing over 500 jumps.

Other hobbies included down hill skiing, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, farming, and wood working. If it involved being outdoors, he enjoyed it. He was a deacon at West Lima Church of Christ.

Bill was also a 4-H leader and shooting sports instructor with the Viola Busy Beavers 4-H club. Bill spent a great deal of time championing his children’s various extracurricular activities. Bill was preceded in passing by: Parents: William & Augusta Duhnke Sisters: Mildred (John) Folts, Charlotte (Adolphus) LeDuc, Adelheid (Earl) Simon Father-in-Law: Fred Curtis Archer Brother-in-Law: Charles Douglas Archer Child: an infant daughter Bill is survived by: Wife: Patience Archer Duhnke Children: Deborah, William (Laurie), David, Caitlin (Joe) and Nathan.

Grandchildren: Emma, Mae, and Jackson Mother-in-Law: Alice Shirley Archer Brother–in-Law: Timothy (Melissa) Archer and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.

The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
