OBITUARY William F. Wordell May 28, 1941 – July 15, 2018 William F. Wordell, age 77, of Fall River, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 peacefully in his sleep. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Clyde A. and Alice M. (Boulay) Wordell, he was a life-long resident of the city. William was an avid outdoorsman, an animal lover and he especially loved the numerous dogs he had over the years.

He was a member of Green Futures and the Friends of the Freetown State Forest. He is survived two nieces, Jennifer Dias-Rezendes and her husband Ronald and Kristin Martins and her husband Terry; two great nieces, Sierra and Sophia Rezendes; three great nephews, Nicholas Rezendes, Brennan R. and Bennett T. Martins; a cousin, Penny Phillips and several other cousins. He was the brother of the late Mary Ann Wordell.

His Funeral will be held on Saturday, July 21 2018 at 8:00 a.m. from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be on Friday 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to Green Futures, P.O. Box 144, Fall River, MA 02724.

Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. FAMILY The late Clyde A. and Alice M. Martins; a cousin, Penny Phillips and several other cousins. He was the brother of the late Mary Ann Wordell.
