William’s Obituary William “Gary” Hobbs, 65, of Johnson City, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Gary was born on April 22, 1953, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Lila Gene Reiner and William Barker Hobbs. He was the owner and operator of Gary Hobbs Tire Service in Johnson City for over 30 years and was a member of the H.O.M.E.

Church in Johnson City. He loved the H.O.M.E. and the H.O.M.E.

Church loved Gary. Gary loved to hunt and fish, collect coins and enjoyed people and occasionally playing a few jokes on a few of his friends. Survivors include his children, Joey Hobbs and his wife Christina of Meadow Lakes, Texas; Sonja Rhiannon Whitt of Belton, Texas; sister, Marsha Gene Andrews and husband Michael Paul Andrews of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren Johnny, Selina, Victoria, Colton, Caleb, Johnathan, Autumn and Haley; two great grandkids, Stella and Peyson.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents William and Lila Gene Hobbs. A visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the H.O.M.E. Church in Johnson City.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the H.O.M.E. Church with burial to follow at Cypress Mill Cemetery in Cypress Mill, Texas. In lieu of flowers “Memorial Contributions” can be made to the H.O.M.E.
