OBITUARY William H Archer II August 23, 1946 – July 12, 2018 William Howard Archer II, age 71, passed away on July 12, 2018, surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. He was born August 23, 1946, in McAllen, TX, to Howard and Wanda Archer. Bill spent his youth living all over the world, from Argentina to Borneo.

He graduated from TCU in 1968. He then became a commercial real estate broker and moved to Aspen, CO, where he met the love of his life, Marguerite Lobello. They married in 1975 and spent the last 42 years together in Dallas with their three children and two grandchildren.

Bill will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather always putting family first; an amazing fly fisherman, basketball player and cyclist, a thoughtful mentor and great story teller. His home was always filled with love and laughter. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by sisters Lawanda Bowen and Paula Corrigan, his spouse Marguerite, children Ashley, William, and Alexis, grandchildren Leah and Eleanor, as well as many nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2018. In lieu of flowers please donate to Trout Unlimited.
