William J. Gibson, 60, of Butler passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler. Born November 30, 1957 in Butler, he was a son of the late Frank L. and Delphine “Dolly” osche Gibson. He was a member of the American Legion post # 778 in Lyndora and the Italian Club in Butler.

He enjoyed golfing and his African Gray Parrot, “Smokey” He previously work as a Truck Driver for McClymond’s Trucking. Surviving is his brother, Frank (Kelley) Gibson of Harrisburg. 3 sisters: Diana R. Love of Nebraska, Lori Moser of Butler and Judy (David) Oresick of Worthington.

Numerous nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved dog, “Tank”. Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler, PA 16001 for a Memorial Gathering from 6-8 pm Friday.

Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
