Dennis E. Wiles, of Butler passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born July 2, 1946 in Butler, he was a son of the late Giles Vinton Wiles and Blanche Edna Blakeley Wiles Marcellus. He was raised by Joseph and Myrtle “Honey” Blakeley.

He retired in 2010 from Butler Refrigerated Meats as a truck driver. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving is his wife, Carol Hays Wiles, they were married October 19, 1965. A son, Dennis E. Wiles, Jr. of Butler. 2 daughters: Tina Miller of Butler and Diana Wiles (Albert Herald) of Chicora.

3 grandchildren: Dennie E. Wiles, III (Megan Dehart) of Cranberry Twp. , Dalton L.E. Miller and Brittany N. Miller both of Butler. 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Kiley Wiles.

A step-brother, Donny Marcellus of AZ and a step-sister, Paula Durand of NC. A daughter-in-law, Dorrie Pacoe of Butler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 great-grandchildren, step-parents, Thomas and Blanche Marcellus; aunt and uncle, Cora and Melvin Birckbigler.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. with Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, to officiate.

Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Geibel Funeral Home.
