William K. Hiser, age 94, of Adrian, passed away January 23, 2019. Bill was born August 29, 1924, in Adrian, Mich. , the son of William and Mina (Blanchard) Hiser.

After graduating from high school, Bill served as an x-ray technician in the U.S. Army during WWII. On Dec. 28, 1950, he married Marilyn A. Bartholomew.

They were married for 66 years. He is survived by his sons, Barry (Sue), Rusty (Lisa), and Steve (Susie) Hiser, ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one sister, June (Hiser) Knierim. He was preceded in death by a son, Craig, his parents and his wife.

Bill loved to reminisce, and he will be remembered for the many stories he told of his days growing up and living in Adrian, his memories of family and friends, and his days in the Army. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
