OBITUARY William L. “Willie” Simpson, Jr. February 5, 1959 – October 10, 2018 William L. Simpson, Jr. was born on February 5, 1959, to William L. and Margaret Stanley Simpson. He passed away on October 9, 2018. “Willie,” as he was known to his family, served proudly in the Navy from August 8, 1978 to April 17, 1984.

He is survived by two uncles, Russell P. Simpson of Henrico and James T. Simpson of Kilmarnock; and cousins, Tammy Simpson, Teresa Kinsey and Mendy Socha. There will be a private ceremony to celebrate his life at a date yet to be determined.
