Obituary for William Larry Thomason William Larry Thomason, 68, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 20, 1950, he was the son of Arthur and Helen Tillotson Thomason. A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Thomason retired from the U. S. Postal Service after more than 20 years of service.

He was a member of Cannons Campground United Methodist Church and the Cannons Campground Ruritan Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Ruby Thomason, daughters, Jennifer Vasbinder and spouse, Jesse of Lawrenceville, GA and Holly Thomason French and spouse, Callie of Albuquerque, NM, and granddaughters, Rhiannon Vasbinder and Chloe Vasbinder, both of Lawrenceville, GA. Visitation will be at 12:00 – 12:45 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

A service will follow at 1:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. David R. Ervin and Mr. Nathan Park. Military honors will be given by The American Legion Post 200.
