William’s Obituary William Lee Clemmer, 63, of Gastonia, passed away on February 11, 2019, at the North Carolina Veterans Home in Salisbury, NC. He was born June 12, 1955, in Gaston County. William was a US Army Veteran.

He attended Dallas Church of God. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, February 15, 2019, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Charles Ledford.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 10:00 am Monday, February 18, 2019, at the National Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury with military honors. William is survived by his father, Grady Austin Clemmer Sr.; brother, Grady Clemmer Jr. and wife, Beverly; sister, Mary Estelle Price and husband, Larry; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Danny Whetstine.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Perlie Styles Clemmer. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
