William’s Obituary William O. “Mick” Robinson, 74, husband for Fifty Years to Rachel Murphy Robinson, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born December 26th, 1944 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Orvin Lee and Lavinia Gulley Robinson. He was a retired after thirty years with I.B.E.W.

having served as an Electrician and Power Lineman and was also a member of the Burgin Church of God. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Survivors besides his wife include two sons: William Anthony “Tony” Robinson and Dannie Lee Robinson; both of Mercer County; two granddaughters: Erika Baylie Young and Kendra Leigh Robinson; four sisters: Margaret Osborne of Harrodsburg, Martha Sue Scarbrough of Lawrenceburg, Judy Kay Kinkead of Burgin, and Virginia Hope Robinson of Mercer County.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert H. Robinson and Kenneth Leon Robinson and one sister Mary Latricia Guy. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
