OBITUARY William R. Jones, Jr. July 17, 1947 – January 1, 2019 LEXINGTON – Funeral services for William R. “Skip” Jones, Jr., 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Calvary Chapel of Lexington. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Calvary Chapel of Lexington, 1156 Barr Rd.

, Lexington, SC 29072. Mr. Jones was born July 17, 1947 in Greer, SC, and passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was a son of the late Doris Holcombe and William R. Jones.

Mr. Jones was a SC football official for 25 years and a member of the Gamecock club. He is survived by his wife, Jan Jones; son, William R. “Trey” Jones III; daughters, Michelle (John) and Brooke Jones; brother, Roger Jones (Teresa); sister, Janet Rosado (Vic) and grandchildren, Savannah, Olivia, Landon, Blythe, John and Liam. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
