William W. Waclo, 80, Johnstown, died April 19, 2018, peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with neurological Lyme disease. Born March 13, 1938, in Johnstown, the son of the late Atanas and Anna (Kohan) Waclo. Preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Sirko and brothers, John, Charles and Steve.

Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley (Snavely) Waclo and children Karen and Anthony Chappell, NC; Ken and Alice Waclo, VA; Michael Waclo and wife Caitlin McDonnell, OH; Kristen Waclo and fiancée Greg Hatch; grandchildren Abby and Mary Waclo, and Simon Hatch along with many nieces and nephews. William was a member of the First Lutheran Church, and was employed by Penelec , Lee Hospital, and First Lutheran. He was a very spiritual man with great love for his family and friends.

He enjoyed golfing and watching sports, had a great sense of humor and loved animals. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church in Johnstown, PA, or Cat Welfare of Columbus, OH.
